Description
This subject aims to:
- provide a sound foundation in Engineering Safety
Principles, Operational Practices and Materials appropriate to maritime
applications.
- provide the appropriate educational requirements for the
subject area, specified in the Uniform Shipping Laws Code, to the rank of
Engineer Watchkeeper.
- prepare the Engineer for the subject Marine Engineering
Practices 2, Marine Metallurgy and Materials 2, and Marine Fuel and Lube Oil
Systems 2.
- provide a sound foundation in Engineering Safety
Principles, Operational Practices and Materials appropriate to maritime
applications.
- provide the appropriate educational requirements for the
