Internal Assessment

The demands of any assessment task will be in accordance with the minimum
acceptable Standards in Industry as endorsed by the National Training Board.
Demonstration requires assessment of the task during performance as well as
evaluation of the product.

Competence will be assessed under the assessment criteria given with each
Learning Outcome and under the conditions specified. Learning outcomes can be
either assessed individually or in groups as one or more assessments.

Assessment methods may include:

-observation, demonstration, and/or questioning
-written or oral presentations to set criteria and timelines
-an assessment project to assess competency achievement in one or a combination
of modules

Assessment may be conducted either individually or in a team environment to
procedures/methods defined by the workplace or the training provider.
