Description
To provide the learner with the knowledge and skills in the analytical use of
polarography and voltammetry.
Range of Variables
This module is designed to be provided off-the-job. Delivery can be effected
by a variety of modes. Learners should anticipate up to an additional two
hours per week study to complete worksheets, reports and general revision.

As this module has a significant laboratory component, delivery strategies must
ensure integration of knowledge and laboratory skills. In adopting a
particular delivery strategy, it is important to establish the entry
characteristics (particularly employment status) of the learners. Learners with
concurrent workplace experience should be considered for recognition of prior
learning, and teaching strategies adjusted accordingly. For example, learners
already employed in the industry should require less practical supervision than
full-time learners.
