Description
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to support contract administration in the building and construction industry. The unit includes researching mandatory requirements for contracts, the types and typical content of contracts in the building and construction industry, and support requirements for contract administration.

This is a knowledge-based unit of competency which is applied by new entrants to non-trade roles in the building and construction industry who undertake contract administration support activities working in a building and construction company, or for a builder, surveyor, engineer, estimator or drafting service.
