To enable learners to identify and map the components of wetland zones on a
land area, discuss the functions of wetlands and assess their health. The
learners will also be able to make informed decisions about managing wetlands
in terms of the vegetation, ecology, erosion/siltation, livestock and human
needs associated with the wetlands.
