Laboratory Techniques relating to textile testing

Internal Assessment

Four practical tests as follows:

Identification of Fibres using Microscopes 15%
Identification of Fibres by Burning Tests 15%
Identification of Fibres by Staining Tests 15%
Identification of Fibres by Chemical Tests 15%

Two hour Written/Practical Examination 40%

Students must obtain a pass in both sections to
obtain a pass mark in the subject.
