Description
To provide the learner training in measurements, estimations and the
interpretation of mathematical data associated with laundry and dry cleaning
processes.
Range of Variables
The length of time taken to complete a module will vary, depending on factors
such as teaching method used, knowledge and skills at entry and individual
participants’ abilities.

This module provides for delivery on-the-job, off-the-job or by a combination
of on and off-the-job training in a variety of modes.

Some areas of content may be common to more than one learning outcome and
therefore integration may be appropriate.

The following delivery methods are suggested as those most likely to achieve
the module outcomes:

- practical exercises
- written exercises
- oral questioning
- small group work.

Resource Requirements

The learner will be provided with access to:

- a variety of relevant workplace contexts in which basic problems may
be solved.

- work documents such as time sheets, work schedules and bonus sheets.
