Description
To enable the student to:
- develop skills in the planning, establishment and
maintenance of horticultural stores and facilities
- develop, maintain and utilise record systems and procedures
- develop the student's ability to evaluate the design,
structural quality, safety features and operational performance of machinery
and equipment
- advise on the selection of equipment and assist in the
preparation of machinery depreciation schedules and evaluation reports
- supervise the operation and maintenance of tools,
equipment and machinery, and establish and maintain machinery maintenance
record systems
- evaluate the operational status of equipment and advise on
the replacement/selection of tools, equipment and machinery.
