Description
To provide knowledge and understanding of the principles of literacy and
numeracy.
Range of Variables
1 This module could be delivered either through an open learning mode or
in a group learning context.

2 Delivery of this module should emphasise the developmental process of
literacy and numeracy.

3 All assessment methods are off-the-job but access to a primary
classroom is essential. This could occur during a supervised Field Placement.

4 A principle for this module is the recognition, acceptance and respect
for individual differences. Delivery of this module should support gender
inclusive and anti-bias values.
