Description
To develop knowledge and skills in the preparation and provision of play experiences with small groups of children in a variety of group care settings.
Range of Variables
1 This module could be delivered either
through an open learning mode or in a group
learning context. For group delivery, the
practical nature of this module makes it
essential that the delivery provides for a
minimum of 4 hours for workshops (maximum
group size 15 participants), to provide for
experiential learning.

2 The deliverer must be familiar with the
module Creative and Expressive Play 0-5
Years (SFP) and ensure that the delivery
fully prepares students for the practical
skills of that module.

3 Face-to-face delivery of this module
requires access to a 'wet area', a room of
sufficient size for musical movement
experiences for a group size of up to 15
participants and access to storage space for
materials and equipment.
