Description
This module examines the nature and role of financial institutions and markets
within the Australian financial system. It reviews the current structure and
role of Australia’s financial system, the range and diversity of financial
instruments used and the role of the Reserve Bank in a deregulated financial
system.
Range of Variables
This module is suitable for both face to face and distance learning
“off-the-job”. Learning outcomes would be best achieved by means of a
modified lecture and group discussion, supported by case studies to facilitate
learner participation.
