Description
To provide the learner with the knowledge and skills that will enable them as
employees in fitness or recreation centres to provide effective leadership,
counselling and teaching so that, in their working environment they can
communicate their knowledge and motivate clients to develop a commitment to
health and fitness.
Range of Variables
This module provides for delivery by off-the-job training in a variety of modes
requiring both theoretical and practical instruction. Strategies include the
use of role playing, classroom discussions and simulated experiences so that
participants can achieve the learning outcomes.
