knowledge in the following:

- Planning and scheduling production
- Cost control and estimating procedures
- Labour and material control
- Purchasing of stock and material control
- Quality control and assurance
- Industrial relations
- Foundry safety and health.

Progressive assessment of each of the seven topic
areas:

- Topics 1, 2 & 3 (20% each) 60%
- Topics 4, 5, 6 & 7 (10% each) 40%

Students must achieve a 'B' pass in each of Topics
1, 2 and 3 to complete the requirements of this
subject.
