Description
To introduce students to fundamental principles of production pottery.
Range of Variables
Intended teaching strategy to include:
Consideration of Aboriginal interpretations of symbols, themes, subjects and designs using basic shapes and marks.
Flexible mode of delivery to allow for field trips and studio visits.
Consideration of commercial ceramic production and business practice principles.
Awareness of safety and health issues, practice preparations, cleaning of materials and equipment, respecting facilities and ensuring the well-being of others.
