Description

To provide the learner with the knowledge, skills and practical experience necessary to set out residential projects using basic measuring and levelling equipment.

Range of Variables

This module contains learning outcomes that will require both theory and practical instruction. Theory and tutorials should take place in a classroom or similarly appropriate area. The ‘practical’ sessions will require a reasonably flat area of open space of sufficient size to accommodate the necessary field instruction/assessment.

Evidence Guide

Drawing projects, pictorial sketches and sections of construction and finishing components, together with a final folio of working drawings and specifications notes.

Lectures should be in a normal classroom or in a well lit and properly established drawing studio.
