Description
To introduce the student to the role of
brush lettering in industry by
combining into the assignments actual
work dockets used by local companies.

To bring hand skills and concept skills
to a level that will enable the student
to gain employment in the graphics
industry.

Two class exercises to assess brief
interpretation, cost quotation and
choice of correct materials.

Six class projects which together will
exhibit the student's handling of
different work-tools, ability to
perform to a specified budget and to a
professional deadline, knowledge of
time-saving processes and rendering
skills.

Folio should show evidence of rendering practice with brush and pen, in a
variety of sized projects.
