Intended teaching strategy to include:
Flexible mode of delivery to allow for camps, off-campus work and intensive project work.
Acknowledgement of different levels of traditional knowledge available depending on position, gender, location and age of tutor and students.
Delivery of modules by an Aboriginal artist or artists where possible with specific expertise.
Involvement of beginning students in a mentor scheme to support tutor and provide guidance in ethical issues and reinforce health and safety issues.
Exposure to work by Aboriginal artists working in traditional and creative practices.
