Description
To enable learners to describe the people, plant, equipment and processes
employed in building and civil construction industry, with emphasis on steel
fabrication, road construction, concrete production and quarry products.

Range of Variables
This module contains learning outcomes that require theory instruction under
standard drawing room conditions and practical instruction. The theory
component will be assessed at the end of the instructional period when learners
are required to sit for a closed book theory test.
The practical component will be assessed by appropriate demonstrations and
reports. It is necessary to pass individually the practical component and the
theory component to pass the module.
Suggested time allocation for each learning outcome including testing:
