Description
To provide the learner with knowledge to
identify and describe the function of spray gun
components and to operate and maintain a
suction feed spray gun.
Range of Variables
This module integrates theory and practice. An
emphasis on applying the theoretical principles
and processes in a simulated "on job" practical
situation is essential. To demonstrate operation
and maintenance procedures for spray equipment
and spray techniques. Learners must apply the
knowledge to practical tasks, practising and
developing the skills until competence is
achieved.
Evidence Guide
Knowledge Short answer questions (written, oral or graphic, or multiple
choice, paper or computer based).

Practical Practical exercises which assesses the skills required of each
learning outcome, followed by a final practical exercise which assesses the
overall module purpose.

Learners must demonstrate competence in all
learning outcomes to the standard identified
within assessment criteria, while adhering to
state Occupational Health and Safety legislation
and Institute Policies and Regulations.

All the necessary subject related information will
be supplied, and learning outcomes will be
achieved without error and without assistance
