Description
To provide students with understanding and practical
skills relating to the application of analytical
geometry and spherical trigonometry to the solution
of cartographic problems in two and three
dimensions.

Students who successfully complete the course should have demonstrated that
they can:

- solve locational problems of surfaces and space
- compute position and direction from astronomical
observations
- compute positions and relationships on the spheroid from
geodetic surveys.
