Description
To develop the learner's awareness of safety precautions when operating power
tools and machines.

To provide a knowledge and skill base for the use of
woodcraft machinery and expose the learner to operating in a real life
woodcraft workshop.

To develop awareness of the importance of design and
introduce the learner to design, investigation and problem solving techniques.

demonstration (projects), assignments, written/oral tests and Professional
Craftperson's assessment or other assessment method as detailed for each
learning outcome. Where appropriate assessment methods may be combined to
