This competency standard unit deals the repair or replacement of non-electrical components and replacement of discrete and integrated components of electronic apparatus. It encompasses safe working practices, following written and oral instruction and procedures, basic testing and techniques, dismantling and assembling apparatus and disconnecting and reconnecting components.
