Description
The Fashion Business and Merchandising pathway immerses students in creative fashion business skills such as fashion forecasting and buying; visual merchandising and digital engagement; and marketing and social media. Students learn the legal, financing and trade essentials for fashion enterprise and the import and export of product. Course topics include international sourcing; sustainable supply and manufacturing; and the creation of accurate costings and tech packs for managing offshore production.
Packaging Rules
To be awarded the MST50116 Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising, competency must be achieved in thirty-five (35) units of competency:
- nine (9) core units of competency
- twenty-six (26) elective units of competency.
