To attain a Certificate IV in Broadcasting (Radio) , 14 units must be achieved: * 2 core units from Group A plus, * 4 specialist units from Group B plus, * 4 elective units from Group C plus, * 4 elective units from the Certificate IV unit bank. Two units may be selected from any other industry training package at Certificate IV level.

This training program is a representation of the qualification code CUF40601 taken from the Film, Television, Radio and Multimedia Training Package CUF01 which should be consulted for full description of requirements. CUF40601 is endorsed until 30/05/2004.

2. Further information on this qualification is contained in the training Package available from Australian Training Products Ltd., Tel: (03) 9630 9836.

3. This qualification was entered on to the CMS by the Central TAFE on 18/04/02.

4. Due to a review conducted by ANTA during 2004, the unit “CUSSOU12A Edit sound using digital systems” was replaced in this qualification by unit “CUSSOU24A Edit sound using computerised digital equipment/systems”. A student that is eligible for this qualification and who may have already completed CUSSOU12A prior to this change, should be granted an exemption from the replacement CUSSOU24A. Changes to this qualification on STARS were requested by Central CSSN on behalf of ANTA on 23/02/05.
