Description

This qualification describes the skills and knowledge for individuals working in regional and senior management roles in conservation and ecosystem management.
Individuals with this qualification analyse, design and execute judgements using wide ranging technical, conceptual and skills and knowledge. Their knowledge base may be highly specialised or broad within the conservation and ecosystem management field. These individuals are often accountable for group outcomes and the overall performance of a conservation and ecosystem management workplace.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- eight (8) units of competency:
- zero (0) core units plus
- eight (8) elective units.

Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- six (6) units must be from the electives listed below
- the remaining two (2) units may be from the electives listed below or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
