4 Common Industry Core Units (Group 1) plus
Minimum of 5 of 7 Seafood Processing Qualification Stream Core Units (Group 2) plus
12 Elective Units (Group 3) of which a minimum of 1 unit must be selected from the Certificate III in the Seafood Industry (Seafood Processing) as well as 1 unit from S254 Diploma of the Seafood Industry (Seafood Processing).

The Seafood Processing Qualification Stream Core Units (Group 2) must include unit SFIPROC401A Evaluate a batch of seafood. If more than 5 Group 2 units are chosen then the required number of Elective Units (Group 3) is reduced by one or two.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS = 21 UNITS

This training program is a representation of the qualification SFI40502 taken
from the Seafood Industry Training Package SFI00 which should be consulted for
full descriptions of requirements. SFI00 is accredited until 31/01/2003.

1. This qualification is the copyright of the Australian National Training
Authority. RTO's who wish to deliver this qualification must be registered by
their State accrediting body.
