To attain a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting) thirteen (13) units must be achieved:

INDUSTRY CORE UNITS: Learners to complete the four (4) industry core units listed below:
(3 industry core units common to Certificate III, plus 1 Certificate IV industry core unit)

ELECTIVE UNITS: Learners to select three (3) elective units. The three (3) elective units may be selected as follows:

All three (3) units may be selected from the Financial Services Training Package at the Certificate IV level.
Of the three (3) units, up to two (2) units at Certificate III level (AQF level III) and up to two (2) units at Diploma level may be included in this qualification.
Of the three (3) units, up to two (2) units may be selected from other endorsed packages in accordance with other packaging guidelines for this qualification.
The choice of electives should be appropriate to the level and integrity of the qualification and to the workplace outcomes it is designed to meet.
