Description
This qualification reflects the role of a technical manager in the entertainment industry. At this level a person is responsible for analysing, planning and managing approaches to technical requirements and applying technical skills to a range of situations.
Job roles
Technical manager (with lighting expertise)
Technical director in a convention centre (vision systems expertise)
Staging coordinator/manager.

The 8 elective units may be selected from the Group A and/or Group B units listed in the CUE50303 qualification outline or any endorsed Training Package. 3 of these elective units may be selected from any accredited course. Elective units must be chosen at the same qualification level.
Electives must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the
qualification level.
