WASTE SPECIFIC ELECTIVE UNITS

A total of 11 units must be completed, consisting of:
6 Core Units, and
5 Elective Units, of which:
a minimum of 2 units from the Waste Specific Electives in Group A
a maximum of 2 units from any other endorsed Training Packages
the remaining units may be selected from the Waste Specific Electives in Group A and the Non-Waste Specific Electives in Group B.

Electives chosen from any other endorsed Training Packages must not be the same or similar to those units listed in the Group A or Group B Electives.
These units must be aligned to Certificate II outcomes or above and must contribute to a valid, industry supported vocational outcome.


Note: Industry considers the following units to be suitable for inclusion as 'Waste-specific units' at this level, once they are endorsed:
RUXCC201A-Identify and receive feed stock and raw material, AND
RUXCC202A-Prepare and compost feed stock, AND
RUXCC203A-Prepare value added products, AND
RUXCC206A-Dispatch materials and composted product.
