The elective units can be selected from the:

- electives table listed in the General Construction Training Package BCG03
OR
- one of the three units may be selected from another relevant endorsed Training Package or from other Certificate IV qualification within the General Construction Training Package BCG03 - these units must be selected to maintain both the integrity of the AQF level and the industry context of the qualification.

One of the three units may be drawn from an AQF level either aligned to AQF III or Diploma.
