1. CORE

Reference should be made to the non endorsed electrotechnology competencies mapping against modules. The outcomes of the modules will assist with meeting the requirements of the competencies. Holistic delivery and management of the funded hours must ensure the 900 hours for the total program is not exceeded. The hours allocated against each competency in this program are related to assessment and reporting. The underpinning knowledge and skills are completed prior to the assessment and reporting.

This training program is a representation of the qualification UTE30499 taken
from the Electrotechnology Training Package UTE99 which should be consulted for
full descriptions of requirements. UTE99 is accredited until 30/06/2002.

3. This qualification was entered on to the CMS by the Midland College of
TAFE. this qualification was amended on 08/01/02 by SWAN TAFE. NUE154 and NUE506 were deleted from group 02, NE008, NE039, NE054 and NUE158 were added to group 4. NE029 was deleted from group 05 and NE039, NUE113 and NUE158 added to group 05.

4. The nominal hours assigned to this qualification allow for the completion of the core competencies and one elective only. To be eligible for the qualification a specialization will also need to be completed. The funding for the specialization will need to be either Fee for Service or negotiated with the Department of Education and Training.
