Description

This qualification provides an occupational outcome in arboriculture. The arboriculture industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level.
This qualification does not require a person to climb trees, however, units that include the basic skills and knowledge required to climb trees are included in the list of elective units.

Packaging Rules
Completion of fifteen (15) units made up of:
- eight (8) core units
- seven (7) elective units, of which:
- a minimum of four (4) units must be selected from the elective unit list
- a maximum of three (3) units may be selected from units packaged in Certificates II or III in AHC10 or from any other currently endorsed training package or accredited course. Selected units must be relevant to job outcomes in the arboriculture industry.

For elite athletes the minimum hours of employment are 7.5 hours per week, which can be averaged over six month periods.
