Elements and Performance Criteria
1. Strap carton
  • 1.1. Carton is moved to strapper and strapped securely.
  • 1.2. Cartons are strapped to workplace standards.
  • 1.3. Carton strapping machine is operated in accordance with workplace requirements.
  • 1.4. Carton strapping machine is operated in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements.
2. Maintain strapping machine
  • 2.1. Start-up checks and procedures are performed in accordance with workplace requirements (where relevant).
  • 2.2. Strapping machine is re-loaded in accordance with manufacturer and workplace requirements, where required.
  • 2.3. Defective machine operation is reported promptly in accordance with workplace requirements.
  • 2.4. Strapping machine is maintained in accordance with workplace requirements.
