1. Receive specimens and blood products for transport
  • 1.1 Confirm requirements for transportation of specimens and blood products in consultation with scientist and organisation policies and procedures
  • 1.2 Receive items for transportation according to organisation guidelines
  • 1.3 Complete relevant documentation is completed
2. Transport items
  • 2.1 Transport item to destination as required
  • 2.2 Take appropriate action on any hazards which may occur and reported to relevant personnel
3. Deliver item
  • 3.1 Follow established procedures for receipt of items
  • 3.2 Return equipment as required
