Description
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to manage verification and validation. It includes identifying requirements, developing, implementing and reviewing verification and validation management strategies.Verification and validation is a generic term for the complete range of checks performed on a system to increase confidence that the system is suitable for its intended purpose.This unit was developed for integrated logistics support specialists working within materiel logistics but may be applicable to individuals in broader logistics roles.Individuals work independently or as part of a team under direct or indirect supervision, use discretion and judgement, and take responsibility for the quality of their outputs. All activities are carried out in accordance with relevant organisational policy and procedures.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
