This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to engage in basic ongoing review and research of industry specific technologies in order to identify and apply these technologies or techniques to improve aspects of an organisation's activities.It applies to individuals who work under minimal supervision and are responsible for ensuring that the quality of the business process is maintained at the highest level possible, through the appropriate application of industry specific technologies.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
