1. Plan and prepare for supervising environmental drilling operations
  • 1.1 Access, interpret and apply environmental drilling operations documentation and ensure the work activity is compliant
  • 1.2 Access, interpret clarify and ensure the application of the specific task information for the required outcomes
  • 1.3 Prepare an operational plan, in consultation, which makes best use of the available resources and for the safe effective and efficient conduct of the operations
  • 1.4 Identify the training requirements of team members and develop training plans
2. Initiate environmental drilling operations
  • 2.1 Acquire and make available the necessary resources
  • 2.2 Issue clear and timely instructions to team members and others involved
  • 2.3 Ensure compliance to training plans
3. Monitor, adjust, communicate and report on the execution of environmental drilling operations
  • 3.1 Monitor the execution of operations
  • 3.2 Initiate adjustments to drilling practices or the operational plan to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the operations
  • 3.3 Provide advice to team members to overcome operational problems encountered during the execution of drilling operations
  • 3.4 Ensure plant equipment and tools maintenance requirements are carried out and recorded
  • 3.5 Ensure reports are completed and submitted
  • 3.6 Recommend changes to improve the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the execution of drilling operations
