1. Prepare for the job
  • 1.1 Identify wheel alignment specification and adjustment procedures to determine alignment process
  • 1.2 Complete wheel alignment pre-checks according to vehicle manufacturer specifications and workplace procedures
2. Align wheels
  • 2.1 Select wheel alignment measuring tools and equipment and connect to the vehicle according to workplace procedures
  • 2.2 Access and interpret information on wheel alignment equipment from manufacturer specifications
  • 2.3 Align wheels using alignment procedures that comply with manufacturer specifications and workplace procedures
  • 2.4 Adjust aligned wheels according to vehicle manufacturer specifications
3. Complete work processes
  • 3.1 Clean and maintain wheel alignment tools, equipment and work area, inspecting for faults according to workplace procedures
  • 3.2 Identify, tag and report faulty equipment
