1. Plan and prepare for service and maintenance of conveyors, feeders and hoppers
  • 1.1 Access, interpret and apply service and maintenance documentation and ensure the work activity is compliant
  • 1.2 Obtain, read, interpret, clarify and confirm work requirements
  • 1.3 Identify, address and report potential hazards, risks and environmental issues
  • 1.4 Select and wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work activity
  • 1.5 Obtain and interpret emergency procedures and be ready for fire/accident/emergency
  • 1.6 Identify and obtain required resources
  • 1.7 Identify and arrange required support
  • 1.8 Inspect and prepare work area in coordination with others
  • 1.9 Carry out isolation and lock-out of all equipment
2. Carry out service and repairs of conveyors, feeders and hoppers
  • 2.1 Coordinate with others prior to commencing and during work activities
