1 Determine job requirements
  • 1.1 Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • 1.2 Comply with work health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
  • 1.3 Review available standards
  • 1.4 Identify and select the appropriate standard that may have relevance to the job
  • 1.5 Interpret standard and application of standard to the job
  • 1.6 Compile specifications which will ensure job meets standard
2 Undertake required work
  • 2.1 Ensure procedures will produce a product which meets standard
  • 2.2 Ensure any required testing/metrics gathering is undertaken
  • 2.3 Monitor production to ensure it complies with the procedures and minimise waste
3 Check conformance to standard, as required
  • 3.1 Check final product complies with the standard, as required
  • 3.2 Identify areas for improvement and take appropriate actions
  • 3.3 Complete any required documentation/reporting according to SOPs
