Description
This unit of competency covers researching furniture styles and movements and analysing how they influence furniture design by accessing a range of information sources. It also covers identifying influences on the design of furniture and documenting information for use in furniture design projects. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

1 Plan research
  • 1.1 Applicable work health and safety (WHS), legislative and organisational requirements relevant to researching furniture styles and movements are verified and complied with
