Description

The Certificate II in Leadership Development is a pathway to the Certificate III in Leadership Development course and could provide entry into Certificates II and III of other Accredited Courses and Training Package Qualifications. It can be customised to a specific industry or community environment and also provides the clients with the necessary employability skills which will support their transition to work, further education and community participation.

Schedule
To achieve the Certificate II in Leadership Development participants must successfully complete a total of 12 units, comprising of 8 core units (275 nominal hours) and 4 elective units (minimum of 80 nominal hours).

2. Elective units

Select 4 elective units from any endorsed Training Package or Accredited Course at AQF Level 2 to bring the course up to a minimum of 355 nominal hours.
Elective units to be a minimum of 80 nominal hours. (One elective unit may be chosen from AQF Level 1 or AQF level 3)
Elective units should be relevant to the key client group, job outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level.
