Description

This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to cut, shape, join, and finish metal to make, maintain or repair Vehicle Bodies or associated compments or products. You will learn skills in using tools, measuring and calculating, drawing and interpreting sketches, mechanical cutting, thermal cutting, gouging, and arc welding. You will also learn about safety in the workplace and quality control. You will practice the skills you have learned in a workshop environment and undertake a supervised work placement.
