Description

This qualification provides a pathway into employment in a seaport or associated port operations. It is endorsed by industry and has been designed to provide relevant competencies needed for people to work in various aspects of ship/shore interface.

Schedule
1.

To achieve 9526 Vocational Graduate Diploma of Maritime Operations - 51852, a total of 7 units of competency must be completed. This comprises:
- 4 Core units
- 3 Elective units
Candidates select 3 elective units from the Pilotage Operations group, the Port Operations group, or the Alternative Maritime units group. A maximum of 2 units may be imported from Training Packages or Accredited courses at Advanced Diploma to Vocational Graduate Diploma level that are relevant to the industry.
