State Implementation and Classification
Description
The program will address the training and educational needs
of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in schools
who do not intend to leave their place of employment and who are
not at the level required to enter tertiary teaching training.
Participants working in various capacities in schools will have
their existing competencies recognised.
Participants will acquire skills and knowledge necessary to
increase their effectiveness in schools and provide a pathway
to further education.
