1 48037 First Aid must be conducted by a person qualified to instruct in
First Aid. 46199 Senior First Aid may be taught as a substitute for this
subject.

2 45084 Agricultural Chemicals is based on the National competencies for
farm chemical users and provides an introduction to the National Farm Chemical
User Training Program.

3 45127 Shed Handing - Introduction is the first stage for students
wishing to qualify as shed hands.

4 65009 Workplace Communication is a National Communication Skills
Module.

5 43000 AATM Functional Mathematics is a National Module. It is strongly
recommended that the teaching resources be developed using Rural Applications.

6 Farm/Station Placement requires a minimum of 240 hours of on-the-job
work experience using a record book as evidence of learner achievement.
Participants who are paid during the on-the-job work experience must be covered
by the employers insurance arrangements. The 15 hours allocated is to enable
TAFE staff to assist in the placement and assessment of students.

7 Further Nationally approved modules may be added as electives when
these modules become available.
