Description
To provide the participant with the awareness of the concept of marketing in
the modern commercial enterprise.
To examine the various activities that constitute the marketing function
including philosophies of marketing, market strategies and the marketing
process.
To provide participants with the opportunity to undertake a field study
research assignment with a retail enterprise to be able to formulate an entry
level project on selling techniques.
NOTE: This module contains a 20 nominal hour field study research
assignment or project to be undertaken with a retail enterprise as an
independent study component of the module.
