Description
To interpret the provisions of the Corporations and
Securities Legislation as it affects corporate
commercial activity and securities (and futures
industries) in Australia.
To describe the legislative and administrative
framework within which the Australian Corporations
and Securities Legislation operates.
To apply relevant statutory provisions to the
solution of simulated business problems of a
relevant legal nature incorporated in classroom
assignments and supplementary teaching materials.
To establish a conceptual legal base upon which
advanced studies in corporate accounting may be
founded.

Examination 100%
One examination paper of three hours' duration to
account for 100% of the final assessment. The
Australian Corporations and Securities Legislation -
Volumes 1 and 2 may be taken into the examination or
C.C.H. student edition of above.
Such copies of the Australian Corporations and
Securities Legislation should be unannotated except
for the following which are exceptions to this rule:
1 Amendments may be made.
2 Underlining and highlighting is permitted.
3 A cross-reference to another section may be made by writing the number
of that section against any section cross-referenced.
4 The Acts and the Law may be indexed by the use of tags.
