Description
To introduce the student to microcomputer
interfacing principles and techniques, and to
provide "hands-on" interfacing experience with
microcomputers.

One two-hour examination 50%
Internal Assessment 50%

The continual assessment shall, at a minimum,
include three software assignments on:

- Data manipulation
5%
- Two on re-programming devices
20%

and a written component dealing with interfacing
techniques 5%

- Eight in-class tests of not more than ten
questions 20%

A pass in BOTH sections is required.
