This subject is to be assessed internally using competence as a measure of
learner’s achievement.
The learner is required to demonstrate competency in each of the learning
outcomes in line with the assessment methods shown.
Assessment will be based on an appropriate selection of the following methods:
-short oral explanations of procedures
-longer written and/or oral tests and/or
-practical demonstration of the skills required
-preparation of a plan from field notes.
